Gambling Therapy is a professional support organization which aims to help those experiencing gambling problems. It is important to recognize that the most difficult stage for a sufferer may be recognizing that they have a problem at all. The following questions are designed to help you identify whether this is the case:

  8. Do you preserve your ‘gambling money’ for playing only rather than for other activities or pursuits?
  9. Do you find yourself distanced from families or friends?
  10. Have you lost interest in other pursuits?
  11. Do you feel compelled to win back losses immediately after you have just lost?
  12. Do you find yourself gambling following disagreements and frustrations or in distressing circumstances?
  13. Has gambling ever provoked depression or suicidal thoughts?
If you have found yourself responding ‘yes’ to any of these questions, you may be suffering from a gambling problem. The more frequently you have responded ‘yes’, the more probable that this is the case. Self Exclusion

If gambling has stopped being a source of pleasure for you, then it may be advisable to restrict your activity.
